Itzel Islas
Itzel Islas (she/her) is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator originally from Tijuana, Mexico, and currently based in San Diego, California. Her work is inspired by Mexican culture, vibrant color palettes, and playful elements of everyday life. While her main medium is digital, she loves incorporating hand-drawn textures and sketches into her designs. Since founding YAY Itzel in 2016, her mission has been to create a positive bicultural impact through design and empower others to pursue creative careers.
